Window tint questions, answered

How much does window tint cost?
Full-car tint is $220 in carbon film for a sedan or truck and $275 for an SUV. Ceramic is $400 for a sedan or truck and $450 for an SUV. Two front windows are $90 in carbon or $170 in ceramic, a full front windshield is $100 or $180, and a brow strip is $50. Prices can vary by vehicle, so call or text (320) 894-7893 for an exact quote.
How dark can I tint in Minnesota?
In Minnesota, the front side windows have to let in at least 50% of the light, and on cars the back side and rear windows do too. On SUVs, pickups and vans, the windows behind the driver can go darker. Windshields have their own rules, so ask us before you choose a windshield film. We'll show you the legal shades for your vehicle before we start.
Will ceramic tint affect my phone or GPS?
No. Unlike older metalized films, nano-ceramic film is non-conductive, so your phone, GPS and toll tags keep working as they should.
How long until I can roll my windows down?
Keep windows closed for 3 to 5 days while the film cures. Light haze or small water pockets during this time are normal and fade as the film dries.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. HITEK Carbon IR and Ceramic IR film come with a lifetime manufacturer warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking and color change, and we stand behind our installs.
